Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Rice University Owls at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. A special train brought Rice supporters to Fort Worth to watch the game. Attending the game are Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Malmberg, of Houston, Texas. Mr. Malmberg's brother, Charles Malmberg is a player on the Rice team. An unidentified man is sitting on the right. Mr. Malmberg is dressed in a hat and a striped coat. Mrs. Malmberg is wearing a hat, fur coat, and gloves. A blanket is spread across her lap. The hard-fought game ended in a scoreless deadlock. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
