Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Rice University Owls at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. A special train brought Rice supporters to Fort Worth to watch the game. A number of the passengers are employees at the Gulf Brewing Company. Pictured left to right are E. A. Retz, Jimmy Delmar, Scott Howard and F. J. Brogniez. Mr. Retz is the vice president in charge of sales in the Fort Worth district. He is wearing a double breasted suit and a coat. Mr. Delmar is dressed in a button-up shirt, trousers, and a coat. Mr. Howard is wearing a three-piece suit and a coat. Mr. Brogniez is dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit. He is pointing his hat in the direction of the camera. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
