    Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Rice University Owls at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. In the second quarter of the game Saturday, Rice halfback and punter J. C. Dickson was heavily rushed by Frog defenders. Dickson (number 46) is shown booting the ball six yards, out of bounds on the Frog forty-four yard line. Causing the pressure, leading to the poor kick are Fred Taylor (number 32), Jim Woodfin (number 56), and Darrell Palmer (number 71). Despite good field position, T. C. U. was unable to score. The game ended in a scoreless deadlock. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
