Policeman John Nash and his wife. Image appeared in Star-Telegram Morning Edition November 21, 1941. They were the most thankful couple in America on this Thanksgiving because he was alive and hungry for a chicken drumstick. Ripped by a shotgun blast on the night of August 31, he is alive by what they call "a miracle." [Deteriorated Negative]
