Sylvanie Garden Club flower show attendees (left to right) Mrs. Sidney Wilson, Mrs. Charles Thomas and Mrs. R. C. Hardeman, a prize winner. The three women are shown standing in front of a table filled with various flowers including some of the prizewinning entries. Mrs. Thomas is holding a small basket of flowers, while the other to look on. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Thomas are both wearing half-sleeve, dark dresses with broaches on their dress collar. Mrs. Thomas is also wearing a pair of eyeglasses. Mrs. Hardeman is wearing a small beret with a dark dress underneath a jacket. Mrs. Hardeman won the sweepstakes ribbons, three first and two second places in the Fall flower show of the club. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
