Description
Americans from Europe voice stern hope on Armistice Day. Miss Marie Myles, England, is seen sitting in front of a desk wearing a patterned dress. She said "I feel that Armistice Day should still be observed, but it should no longer be observed as a gala holiday. In this country, we have made it too much of a holiday. For some time it has been the custom in England to make of it a quiet, serious observance."
