Description
The 1941-1942 American Hockey Association (A. H. A.) season is opening at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum with a match between the Fort Worth Rangers and the visiting St. Paul Saints. At center ice during the pregame ceremony, left to right, are Manager Gene Carrigan, Mary Louise Ballard, and Sam Buron. They are shown with a floral tribute presented by the Saints. Carrigan is the coach of the Rangers and also plays center. He is dressed in a hockey uniform. Miss Ballard carried the flowers onto the ice. She is wearing a dress and skates. Mr. Buron is the owner of the Rangers. He is dressed in a three-piece suit.
