Description
The 1941-1942 American Hockey Association (A. H. A.) season is opening at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum with a match between the Fort Worth Rangers and the visiting St. Paul Saints. Attending the game, left to right, are Private Arthur Allen, Private Bill Johnson, Private Ernie Glasby, and Miss Christine Keenum. The soldiers, all natives of Tulsa, Oklahoma, traveled from Camp Barkeley in Abilene, Texas, to attend the game. They are dressed in their military uniforms as they purchase soft drinks. Miss Keenum is pouring a bottle of Coca-Cola into a cup. She is dressed in a plaid coat.
