Description
The Southern Methodist University Mustangs are hosting the University of Texas Longhorns at Ownby Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Fine passing and great running makes the Longhorns the most dangerous offensive team of the 1941 season. An example of their expert blocking came on a punt return. Might back, Jack Crain (44) is shown in full stride. He brought the ball from his own twelve to the forty-four yard line. One of the blockers leading the way for Crain is Zuehl Conoly (70). The Longhorns went on to win the game 34-0. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, November 14, 1941.
