    Description

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs are hosting the University of Texas Longhorns at Ownby Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Longhorns displayed a variety of ways to score during Saturday's game. Later in the game, from the Mustang fifteen yard-line, Texas back R. L. Harkins (30) dropped back and found Walter Heap (20), an open receiver along the sideline. The throw was perfect and Heap is shown cutting back to the middle of the field to elude the tackle of Preston Johnston (37). The play went for the Longhorns' fourth touchdown. They went on to win the game 34-0. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, November 3, 1941.
