Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are facing the rival Baylor Bears at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. In the second quarter, T. C. U. went for the home run with a pass deep down the field. Frog passer Emery Nix (48), faded back and heaved a long pass to fullback Frank Kring on the goal line. The play gained thirty-yard touchdown and put T. C. U. ahead, 13-0, the Frogs having scored on another long pass a few minutes earlier. Phil Roach kicked the goal to make it 14-0. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, November 2, 1941.
