Description

A high school football game between the Masonic Home and the Polytechnic Parrots (dark jerseys) is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. Early in the second quarter, Mason fullback Gordy Brown (43) is shown carrying the ball. He is plunging from the one yard-line to score his third touchdown of the night. The score gave the Masons a 20-0 lead and Brown became District Seven's leading scorer with 53. Brown left the game shortly after the score and the Masons went on to win 38-0. At least six players and one referee are in the photo that caught the scrimmage in play. They're wearing football uniforms and leather helmets. "(Star-Telegram photo by Tom Dillard.)"
