Description

One of the busiest oil spots in the state is the Slaughter Pool. The drilling action is centered around Sundown, Texas, a small town in southwestern Hockley County. The presence of oil has brought more revenue to the county, allowing them to update local schools. The auditorium for Sundown High School is located to the side of the high school. Two automobiles are parked in the front. A sidewalk surrounds the building.
