One of the busiest oil spots in the state is the Slaughter Pool. The drilling action is centered around Sundown, Texas, a small town in southwestern Hockley County. Bert Camp is an oil driller for the M. B. K. Drilling Company and a contractor for several wells in Sundown. He is shown standing beside machinery, dressed in a hardhat, long-sleeve shirt, overalls, and gloves.
