Description
TCU football players and their guests treated to dinner and theater party by Amon Carter following their win at the 1939 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans [names provided on the envelope]. Clipping reads "Seniors of the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, national football champions, and their dates were guests of Amon Carter at dinner at the Fort Worth Club Saturday night and were given a theater party at the Worth Theater afterward." Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sunday Home edition, January 8, 1939.
