Description
TCU football players and their guests treated to dinner and theater party by Amon Carter following their win at the 1939 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. From left to right are Clifford Kellow, Miss Olive Tucker, Paul Snow, Pat Clifford, Forrest Kline, Bob Jordan, Arthur Moseley (student manager), I. B. Hale, Miss Virginia Kingsbury, Miss Dorothy Pope, Ki Aldrich, Miss Frances Buster, Davey O'Brien, Miss Hazel Smith, Russell Hensch, Lacy McClanahan, Miss Mary Helen Lancaster, Johnny Hall, and Miss Emajean Haggard. Clipping reads "Seniors of the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, national football champions, and their dates were guests of Amon Carter at dinner at the Fort Worth Club Saturday night and were given a theater party at the Worth Theater afterward."
