Description
Col. Ernest O. Thompson, left, chairman of the Texas Railroad Commission, has made his contribution to the national Democratic cause and is receiving his golden medallion in return. Elliott Roosevelt, son of the President, made the sale. Profiles of President Roosevelt and Vice President Garner appear on the medallions which also have been struck off as lucky coins. Sale of the emblems and coins will help to raise $250,000 for the Democratic party in Texas. Thompson is pictured with two unidentified men, one of which has the coin placed on the back of his left hand.
