Description
Col. Ernest O. Thompson, right, chairman of the Texas Railroad Commission, has made his contribution to the national Democratic cause and is receiving his golden medallion in return. Affixing the emblem to Thompson's lapel is Elliott Roosevelt, left, son of the President, who made the sale. The 1936 Roosevelt/Garner Presidential Campaign medallion includes profiles of President Roosevelt and Vice President Garner on the coin which also have been struck off as lucky coins. Sale of the emblems and coins will help to raise $250,000 for the Democratic party in Texas.
