Squire Haskins Photography, Inc. Collection

The Squire Haskins Photography, Inc. Collection contains photographic prints and more than 223,000 negatives produced between 1947 to 1999. In addition, the collection contains the company's job log books and printed materials. The collection is arranged in six series: Series I, Photographic Log Books, 1949-2002; Series II, Dallas Photographs, [1880s]-2000, undated, bulk 1947-1996; Series III, Convention Photographs, [1970s]-1996, undated, bulk 1975-1979; Series IV, Other Locations, approximately 1953-1999, undated, bulk 1958-1989; Series V, Printed Materials, [1988]-1997; and Series VI, Photographic Film Negatives, 1947-1999, undated. The images primarily document the commercial, industrial and neighborhood growth of the Dallas area following World War II. Series II, Dallas Photographs, comprises the bulk of the collection. Aerial, architectural, and State Fair of Texas images are represented, as well as commercial and convention assignments. Some historic images are included.
