This map shows constellations of the northern hemisphere for the epoch 1731.0 after the catalogue of Johannes Hevelius. In the corners are the observatories of Tsycho Brahe on Hven (founded in 1576), Paris (1667), Johannes Hevelius in Danzig (c. 1650) and Georg Christoph Einmart in Nuremberg (1678).
