Description

Children volunteering for a national children's poll for the 1972 presidential election, conducted by the "Hoot Owl" children's newspaper in Arlington, tabulated at Six Flags Over Texas. The Hoot Owl, described as a "newspaper made for kids by kids," was founded in 1970 by seven children between the ages of 6 and 14. Joel Turner, 14, political analyst for the "Hoot Owl," is seen third from right. Shown are six children in the foreground with the election stage set-up in the background.
