Abstract

TEX FILES is proud to present excerpts of the recently concluded 2002-2003 academic year in a new annual architectural journal. The book serves to document and transcribe a commentary on issues in architecture, education and practice, from the perspective of students, faculty, alumni and professionals. TEX FILES introduces a series of internal and external critical dialogs, archiving, and overall awareness of current architectural events in the greater Dallas, Fort Worth area. Included are: Dialog One, Culture of Speculation - Housing in DFW; Dialog Two: Architectural Concretes - the Pursuit of Perfection; Dialog Three, Edwin Chan Speaks to Students; Dialog Four, One-on-One with Sanford Kwinter; and P.U.L.P.
