Warren C. Cowen Papers

The Warren C. “Red” Cowen Papers consist primarily of materials related to Warren Cowen’s time as a Representative in the Texas Legislature, Tarrant County Clerk, and soldier. The collection also includes materials collected by Cowen’s wife, Mary Hudnall Cowen, and daughter, Mary Kay Green. The bulk of the collection, 1953 to 1972, is related to Warren Cowen’s political career. The collection is organized into four series: family materials; military service materials; Texas Legislature materials; and Tarrant County Clerk materials.
