(Left) County Clerk W. C. Cowen looks over the first of 430 voting machines, rented for use in the November general election. W. J. Morris of the Shoup Voting Machine Company was on hand as the first shipment arrived, Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening September 8, 1964.
