Description

Toni Burke said she felt "like a fish out of water" when her family moved to Arlington, Texas from Illinois last year. Burke recently joined the Arlington Area Newcomers Club, which is open to any resident who has lived in the city two years or less. The club is a social organization and offers dozens of group activities including bridge and canasta games through coupon clipping and sewing clubs to metaphysics groups. Burke is seen posed on brick steps with a house and dog in the background.
