Description
Rev. Peter Johnson, emulating the Boston Tea Party, dumps African blend coffee into the Dallas City Hall reflecting pool among several people from the media as part of a demonstration against Dallas City Council redistricting plans. Rev. Johnson is the local executive director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. A coalition for Black and Hispanic groups announced a boycott of the Dallas Convention Center as part of the battle over the Dallas City Council's redistricting plan for upcoming elections.
