Lenora Rolla, executive director of the Tarrant County Black Historical Genealogical Society (TCBHGS), speaks during a ceremony. The ceremony, held at the Fort Worth/Tarrant County Convention Center, was in celebration of an agreement between TCBHGS and Fort Worth to house the society's collection of documents and photographs. The Fort Worth City Council approved the contract to house the archives at the public library. Member names on the charter list include Clarence Brooks, Marie Brooks, Marion Brooks, Mary Curtis, Duane Gage, Arquilla Gardner, Myrtle Gray, A. I. Harris, Erma C. Johnson, Lenora Rolla, Lula M. Johnson, Lela Keller, Opal Lee, Bettie M. Meredith, Franklin D. Moss, James Newsome, G. Pherribe, Arthur Slaughter, Joe E. Standifer, Laurene Sharp, and Rodney Sharp.
