Wade Weaver, left, of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society, gets advice from a lens manufacturer on a cellular phone while Don Garland of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History's Noble Planetarium sets up a 750mm telescope. They were preparing the equipment on the museum lawn to view the solar eclipse occurring the following week on May 10. About 2,000 people are expected to attend the event at the museum on telescopes provided by the society and the museum.
