Clayton Williams called Ann Richards a liar and refused to shake her hand as she offered it before speeches at Dallas' Loew's Anatole during the Greater Dallas Crime Commission luncheon, 10/11/1990. Both Richards and Williams were running for Texas Governor in the 1990 gubernatorial campaign.
