Littlejohn, leader of one of the subdistricts of Near Southeast Citizens Committee, is planning a garden cooperative program in Fort Worth, Texas. The Near Southeast Citizens Committee was awarded a $5,000 community development grant for seed purchase, equipment rental, and other supplies needed to get the garden project started. Houses and pickup trucks can be seen in the background, as well as an unhitched trailer.
