Todd Hale of UTA (University of Texas at Arlington) slides safely into home on a wild pitch during a recent baseball game as Lamar University's catcher attempts to squash the effort. The Mavs lost 3-2, ending UTA's hope of continuing on into the playoffs. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition May 25, 1983.
