Description
Members of the broadcast news media group were up to their microphones in muck at Mayfest, but they weren't raking it. Newspeople from KXAS-TV Channel 5 and KVIL Radio in Dallas were merely participating in the second annual tug-of-war across the Trinity River. Victory meant collapse for the KXAS-TV tug-of-war team, anchored by Dallas Cowboy Harvey Martin, far left. The team defeated KVIL Radio during Mayfest festivities in Fort Worth.
