    Image shows Louis Beam, 34, Grand Dragon of the Texas Ku Klux Klan, holding a document, surrounded by reporters. He will plead innocent April 17 to charges that he conducted military exercises on federal property on Lyndon B. Johnson National Grasslands near Decatur without a permit. His defense attorney Harry Walsh, Huntsville. The maximum punishment is six months in prison and a $500 fine. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 1, 1981.
