Image shows UTA students from left to right, Ramon Diaz, Dave Kemper and Gimo Yang. The Swift Center machine, in center is built around a tube just 8 feet long. The machine is donated by the Livermore National Laboratory in New Mexico that costs $8 million. The particle accelerator works as a super microscope. The students have come together with interests from across the technical and scientific spectrum. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 17, 1988.
