Description
Allan Saxe, seen waving inside of a garbage truck with a bouquet of wilted flowers, celebrates the dedication of the road to the Arlington Sanitary Landfill, which was named "Allen Saxe Parkway" in Saxe’s honor and was later changed to "Allan Saxe Parkway" to correct the misspelling. About 50 people, including council members, city staff, and friends, were in attendance of the dedication and celebrated with wilted flowers and champagne.
