Wrestler Mike Von Erich [Mike Adkisson] contracted toxic shock syndrome and was admitted to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. A news conference was held at the hospital with the Von Erich family. Fritz Von Erich [Jack Adkisson] is pictured here embracing his son Mike, who is seen seated in the wheelchair.
