Description
U.S. Representative George Bush, right, was taken into the cockpit of an F111 fighter-bomber during a tour of the General Dynamics-Fort Worth plant yesterday. Air Force Lt. Col. Robert C. Autry joined him in the cockpit. After the tour, Bush remarked: "As an ex-pilot, I can't tell you what an experience that was. If I sat in Washington and read the papers there, I would have a different opinion of the F111." The senate candidate, a Republican, made several stops in Fort Worth during his campaign against Democrat Lloyd Bentson.
