Description

A memorial in the form of an empty 50-by-50 foot room, 30 feet high, was dedicated in Dallas on June 23, 1970 to the memory of President John F. Kennedy. The memorial, designed by Philip Johnson, is located about two blocks from where Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Nearly 500 people attended the dedication of the $200,000 memorial.
