Kathy Marcum, 19, sophomore cheerleader, and Kirk Walden (as Sam Maverick), 22, with University of Texas at Arlington mascot, the Maverick horse. The clipping reads, "Horns are held in place with a bridle harness. Maverick, lent to the school by the Vaqueros, will be used at home games and pep rallies."
