Oakhurst Elementary School Principal Donald D. Couch, right, offered assistance along the Riverside cluster bus route as a mother assisted her son on board a bus. Couch drove along the route, stopping occasionally to speak with waiting children. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 31, 1971.
