    Superintendent Julius Truelson, left, and Reverend John Leatherbury were handed complaints by an unidentified African American man. A group of African American students presented demands to the school board in response to the charges of racism against the board made by their representatives and spokespersons. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 29, 1971.
