Description

The Sierra Club and Explorer Post 425 sponsored a "River Float-In," in celebration of Earth Day, where canoe enthusiasts converged on the banks of the Trinity River for a four-mile float down the lazy river with help from periodic releases of water, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, from the Benbrook Dam. There are two people on the right of the photo in a canoe that can be seen paddling, and two more people in a boat seen further back and to the left.
