Sepia Magazine, with over 100,000 circulation, caught the attention of whites in 1960 with its articles by John Howard Griffin. Mrs. Beatrice Pringle became publisher this month (May 1975) after starting at the company 17 years ago in the circulation department and in the bindery. Pringle is seen here seated at her desk holding a copy of "Soul Teen."
