Image shows Mary Spotted Bird, center, from Hobart, Oklahoma, is a descendent of a chief, right is her granddaughter, Carolina Ynguanzo, took part in an Native American Pow Wow at Arlington sponsored by the Dallas-Fort Worth Inter-Tribal Association. They are part of the Kiowa Native American tribe that came to Texas for the dancing of Mary Spotted Bird's sister in law, Isabel Two Hatchet, left. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 14 1971.
