Dr. Edward Guinn, Fort Worth city councilman, and three wives of americans prosumed to be prisoners of war were selected 1970 Newsmakers of the year at the Press Club of Fort Worth's annual Newmaker Ball. From left, the wives are Mrs. Sandy McElhanon, Mrs. Paula Hartness and Mrs. Michele Jones. Te winners were four of 11 nominees for the awards. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 27, 1971.
