Katy Corbin, Miss Hurst-Euless-Bedford, is presented with the oversized oil can trophy for winning the Oil Can Derby, the preliminary race to the Fort Worth Soap Box Derby, held at Rolling Downs track in Longhorn Park at Lake Benbrook. Amon Carter Jr., publisher of the co-sponsoring Star-Telegram, is seen presenting the trophy.
