Description
Mrs. Benjamin J. Fortson, President of the Kimbell Art Foundation, and Anatoli G. Myshkov, counselor of the USSR Embassy in Washington, DC, seen at the Kimbell Art Museum at the museum's first loan exhibition of French paintings of the 19th and 20th centuries, by courtesy of the Soviet Union. The event was titled "Impressionist and Post-Impressionist French Paintings from the U.S.S.R." and included paintings by Matisse, Gauguin, Picasso, Cezanne, Vincent van Gogh, Claude-Oscan Monet, Renoir, Henri Rousseau, and Andre Derain.
