W. F. Heller, left, executive director of Carter blood Center, shows $19,000 pheresis machine capable of separating platelets, or white cells, or plasma from an individual's blood and returning rest of patient's "cleansed" blood in about 90 minutes to memebers of Links whose Ebony Fashion Show last year helped pay for the machines. Looing on, are, left to right, Mrs. Robert T. McDanel, Mrs. Marion J. Brooks, Mrs. Lorraine Broadus and Mrs. Reby Kary. Links will sponsor 21st annual Ebony Fashion Fair of Fashions from top American and European designers in Tarrant county convention Center. Proceeds will go to the Carter Blood Bank.
