Description
Fire at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram building, 7th Street, Fort Worth, Texas. The clipping reads "A fire in the basement of the Star-Telegram building shortly after noon Thursday did no damage but delayed the press run of the evening edition about 30 minutes. There were no injuries. The fire began when a spark from a cutting torch being used to remove outmoded equipment ignited paper dust, lint and ink. Smoke spread throughout the building at 400 W. 7th St. and about 60 persons were evacuated from the press and mail rooms. Normal operations resumed a short time later."
