Rebel fan Jerry Crone of 1925 S. Cooper in Arlington, at left, waves his team on with a giant Confederate flag at the TCU-UTA (Texas Christian University, University of Texas at Arlington) game at Amon Carter Stadium as the Frogs took on the Rebels. Seated to his right is A. B. Lane of Cleburne who is the father of UTA track coach and football trainer Bobby Lane. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition September 13, 1970.
